Hello, my name is Ryan Sullivan. I am a bodybuilding and lifestyle coach originally from Boston, Massachusetts, and currently based in Tampa, Florida. I specialize in individualized nutrition planning, training program design, supplement guidance, and bloodwork review for both competitive bodybuilders and lifestyle clients.
My passion for weight training began in high school while playing football. I was always the one showing up before school, staying late, and spending any free time I could in the gym. What started as preparation for sports quickly became something much bigger. I vividly remember seeing the “jacked” guys at my local gyms, men who I later realized were competitive bodybuilders taking the sport seriously. From that moment on, I knew that was the level I wanted to reach.
During college, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in engineering, I continued training consistently but lacked real structure, especially when it came to nutrition. I trained hard, but I didn’t yet understand how to properly fuel my body or maximize progress. That all changed after college.
In 2017, at 26 years old and weighing 180 pounds in what I’d describe as a “skinny fat” state, I reached out to Andrew Berry to finally take bodybuilding seriously and reach my potential. Andrew has been my coach and mentor since day one, and I now work under him as a coach myself. Through years of hands-on experience, he taught me the ins and outs of training, nutrition, supplementation, and most importantly, what it truly means to work relentlessly and dedicate your life to this sport.
I competed in my first bodybuilding show in 2018 and have since competed in 11 total competitions, including 6 national-level shows. My best national placing was 4th at NPC Universe in 2023. I’ve also earned two overall titles: the 2022 NPC Cutler Classic in Boston, Massachusetts, and the 2025 All South Championships in Orlando, Florida.
Over the past decade, bodybuilding has completely consumed my life. I continuously educate myself through research, podcasts, and real-world application to stay at the forefront of training, nutrition, supplementation, and health optimization. Today, living in Tampa, Florida, I surround myself with some of the best gyms and sharpest minds in the industry to continually raise my standards as both an athlete and a coach.
